What's On My Micro, Part 2

[Archived in Entry]

[WFMU's Beware of the Blog] Such is the life of a perpetually dissatisfied freelance worker. The need arose, then, to refresh and revise the playlist on my Micro, resulting in the new inclusions below, though all but one of the artists are not terribly new (I must be at risk of High Luddite status;

Some related posts from Technorati and Google.

[Rakesprogress.typepad.com] Rake's Progress: Music: The final Guided by Voices album, Half Smiles of the Decomposed, has already leaked, but if you're not into sub-rosa music gathering, two MP3s have been posted--one at at gbv.com and one at the GBV Matador site. While "Everybody Thinks I'm A Raincloud (When I'm Not Looking)" is quintessential late-period GBV (read: merely good, tuneful rock), "Gonna Never Say Die" strikes me as better and more interesting.

Mises.orghttp://www.mises.org [Mises.org] Mises Economics Blog: May 2004 Archives: His main thrust is to make viewers dissatisfied with the .But it's not something we're terribly worried about .

http://lastofthefamous.blogspot.com [Lastofthefamous.blogspot.com] LOTF: With only 28% approving and 70% dissatisfied, the president of the Republic has whethered an unprecedented collapse: not since de Gaulle in the spring of 1963 during the coal miners' strike, a social crisis, has there been an equivalent drop (less 17% but over two months.) In terms of approval, 28% is not a record for the 5th Republic: Jacques Chirac himself once slipped to 27% (November 1995 and November 1996) and François Mitterrand, all-time record holder, was at 26% in 1984 and the summer of 1992, before Maastricht, and even as low as 22% in December 1991.

Bookslut.com[Bookslut.com] blog | Reviews index: "They had but one last remaining night together, so they embraced each other as tightly as that two-flavor entwined string cheese that is orange and yellowish-white, the orange probably being a bland Cheddar and the white .Mozzarella, although it could possibly be Provolone or just plain American, as it really doesn't taste distinctly dissimilar from the orange, yet they would have you believe it does by coloring it differently." Oh yes, it's the Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest.

Ans.com.au[Ans.com.au] Hot Buttered Death: I don't know what the fuck was up Blogger's arse there, but that's the first I've been able to update the site in five hours. I've posted, and Blogger's insisted it was publishing the changes, but this is the first (at about 10.20pm) that they've actually appeared on the page.
