[Broadcasts from Planet Blarg] Seriously, drawing comics is harder for me than attempting to get anything right EVER in Chemistry. In the space of just one page, I have managed to: screw up a face, screw up depth of field, completely reverse the placement of objects in a room, and draw the most boring splash panel EVER.

[Fluxblog.org] FLUXBLOG: Now Is The Winter Of Our Discotheque: - Artistic originality is most often the result of a compelling individual attempting to mimic something beyond their capabilities, and so I can only wonder what stew of influences yielded the singing style of Wild Beasts' Hayden Norman Thorpe. You can suss out some similarities to other vocalists, but there are no solid leads -- everything you can find in his voice is fractured and warped, and may be a mutated version of some other thing.
[Rickgebhardt.net] Rick Gebhardt - Dot Net!: What this meant is that I had an extremely boring flight where I was *gasp* forced to read the entire way, as well as have some boring transport time since I couldn't listen to my MP3 player. I also had an entire morning of work that consisted of me working in silence, which just drives me batty.

[Tcj.com] Journalista - the news weblog of The Comics Journal » 2006 » September: Graeme MacMillan may no longer be writing Fanboy Rampage, but he still manages to find eye-popping examples of fans and industry-types talking trash on message boards. Case in point: Here’s Paty Cockrum (starting third post down from top), wife of Uncanny X-Men Mark II co-creator Dave Cockrum, dumping on John Byrne among others for post after post after post.
[Neilalien.com] Neilalien : A Doctor Strange Fansite : A Comic Book Weblog ...: Doctor Strange is a fictional character who appears in, and is wholly owned by, Marvel Comics. This site is not official nor affiliated with Marvel Comics. This site is for academic and personal use.Images of Doctor Strange and other characters are owned by their respective owners, and are used via fair use out of love without permission. This site has no intention of diluting, risking or exploiting anyone's ownership or the money-making ability of their own properties, trademarks, and copyrights. It is this site's sincere hope that the owners, especially Marvel Comics, are rational people who "get" the internet and fandom, and can perceive this site as a free generator of positive promotion and interest, even when this site might be critical of how they are using their properties, or place their properties in humorous, satirical, parodical or ironic situations.
[Peteashton.com] Pete Ashton's Weblog: July 2004 Archives: The three blogs from this site (web, link, mp3) were combined using the OtherBlog plugin, while my BugPowder posts were brought over using the MTRSSFeed plugin, currently used to do the same thing on the website. The latter was a bit of a bodge as MTRSSFeed doesn't appear to bring over date information for individual posts, so when you sort the feed by date in something like NetNewsWire all the BugPowder posts appear at the top, at least to begin with.
