OM signs with Southern Lord; Next album produced by Steve Albini

[Honey Bucket] Amazing - yet not that surprising that ex-Sleep members Al Cisneros and Chris Hakius, aka OM have signed a deal with the glorious Southern Lord label. According to the Lord’s blog, the duo of DOOM will start working on their new album (following 2004’s Variations on a Theme and 2006’s fantastic Conference of the Birds) around this summer, with non other than mega- producer and musician Steve Albini (Nirvana, Neurosis, PJ Harvey, Fugazi, High on Fire and much more).
