My wish for the iPod
[The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)] I actually submitted something just like this via the apple website some months ago, never heard back though. The other thing I would really like is when I am falling asleep to my ipod (and altec inmotion speakers), and I set the timer, I would love for it finish the song before turning off.
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[the ramblings of jen] How I love Macs: Most of us were very disbelieving and wanted more news on this supposed Mac virus before we rushed out and bought Mac Antivirus software. When I first saw the report, I went to Intego’s website to try and get some more info about the press release, and of course the site was swamped with tons of people. As word continued to flow, we all found out that it was only a “proof of concept”
[Pootergeek.com] PooterGeek » Blog Archive » Freedom Is Messy: The final straw was when I put the iPod in its charging bracket (a inMotion unit actually) but forgot to turn on the power connection (the adapter gets unusually hot), the f*cking thing ran out of power whilst idly connected to the USB port, what other device runs out of power just by being connected to a power providing port ? I have a camera that _charges_ on USB power only !
[Weblog.warpspeed.com] Dewayne-Net Radio Weblog: "You can make parallels with computers: Apple was very strong in this field before, with its Macintosh and its graphics user interface -- like the iPod today -- and then lost its position," Gates said. Apple has around two thirds of the global market for MP3 music players, which store thousands of songs on pocket-sized disk drives or smaller flash memory chips, and sold more than 5 million iPods in the last quarter. But it faces increasing competition not only from the likes of Sony, whose iconic Walkman dominated the personal audio market for two decades, but also from mobile-phone companies integrating MP3 players into handsets.
[Blog.truegeek.org] daily babble: I thought about staying up, but I was still really tired, so I laid back down to see what would happen. Predictably, I was asleep in seconds. Ah, but the change in dreams….
[Playerblog.com] Player Blog: March 2005 Archives: DVForge has announced an interesting new iPod accesory, the JamPod. The JamPod lets you plug your guitar into your iPod, jam along to tunes and hear the mixed result in your headphones. Perfect for when the neighbors are asleep and you feel the need to exercise your inner Jimmy Page.
