[Scissorkick.com] SCISSORKICK.COM: Big thanks to Thomas Bartlett of Salon's reliable Audiofile blog for representing some beats and electronic music on our favorite daily dose of lefty leaning news and culture. We are humbled and honored, but more importantly, we're glad to be able to list some of our favorite artists on a site with so much traffic and open-minded, conscious music lovers, many of whom listen to a broad spectrum of music beyond indie rock and alt-country.

Livejournal.comhttp://www.livejournal.com [Livejournal.com] ready rock moe rex: A+D "Hollaback Headhunter (Gwen Stefani vs Front 242)" - In these enlightened days it seems that the hallmark of a really good pop song is that it can instantly be pop-bastardized in 2000 directions from here to Sunday by various mashup producers and bedroom bootleg remixers and almost always come out sounding some sort of glorious. This has an structure like water has structure, but it's fluid like water is fluid, it escapes from my hands as I try to describe it, ah, ah...
