A Cure for the iTunes 4.8 Error 400 Blues
[The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)] Apple has posted a new document on the 400 error that some iTunes 4.8 users have been experiencing when trying to access the iTunes Music Store. They not only acknowledge the error, but provide a nice solution. It would appear that there are a few unneeded or corrupt cookies in iTunes that are causing the error.
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

[The Designer Monologues] Friday Music!! I swear ta god....I have had the w...: In keeping with Yosa's request for things chill and trip-hoppy, here's Zero 7 - "I Have Seen". Usually, this style of music features female vocalists, but Zero 7 (a collaboration between UK producers Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker, which features a mix of electronics and soulful orchestral arrangements) switches from track to track between a male vocalist (Mozez), a female vocalist (Sia Furler) and pure instrumentals. This track features Mozez, and when the bassline changes subtlely when his lyrics kick in, I get chills (which, I suppose, is appropriate for the genre). The only way to describe this is "lush."

Although a glance at the track list on the back of the CD jewel box can often make people assume the album is "depressing," E called it "probably the most positive record I will ever make." The album, now considered a late 90s rock classic, can at first prove to be a difficult listen, but soon reveals a life-affirming heart. Guests on the album included E's neighbors and friends, Mike Simpson of the Dust Brothers, Mickey Petralia, Grant Lee Phillips of Grant Lee Buffalo, Lisa Germano, Jon Brion, and T-Bone Burnett.

The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW): To a certain degree, I could see information database programs like StickyBrain being threatened by Spotlight, as Apple is spinning Spotlight as if it makes your entire computer into just such a database, but there are some fun and useful features of StickyBrain that Spotlight cannot manage alone. Features like syncing of notes to your iPod, syncing with your Palm or handheld device, and quick importing of text from various programs into the database. There's also a menu bar interface, which you can see after the jump.
Blogging's Cure for the Expat Blues: Through blogs, expats may be finding the support they left behind. But of course, experts say, the blog can't be a substitute for the real expat experience: learning the language and making friends with the locals. "Blogs enable expats to make connections with people across the broader Net," says Rebecca Blood, San Francisco-based author of The Weblog Handbook: Practical Advice on Creating and Maintaining Your Blog. "They can get advice, broaden their social network, and enhance real life.
